Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my brother-in-law, Michael, and his children as they face an unimaginable loss.

After three and a half courageous years, my sister Nancy has passed away from one of the most aggressive and rare forms of cancer — Leiomyosarcoma. Because this disease is so rare, there has been very little research and, heartbreakingly, no effective treatment or cure.

Nancy fought bravely every step of the way, always with love and grace. She leaves behind three beautiful children, aged 11, 9, and 5, who now face life without their beloved mom.

Michael will be stepping away from work for the foreseeable future to grieve, care for the children, and honor Nancy’s memory. As he navigates this incredibly difficult time, any financial support — no matter the amount — will help ease the burden and allow him to focus on what matters most: his family.
