Imagine it: You are enjoying the company of the love your life of 30 years, and partner/parent to your children, and suddenly two months later you are making their funeral arrangements.

This is the catastrophic grief and sadness being faced by Dawn Bailey and her children. They’re reeling at the loss of a husband and their father due to uncurable, untreatable and aggressive cancer which struck her husband, 'Mike', down with no warning, and no way to stop it.

This family was hit with a destructive debilitating loss. A family who at this very moment, are struggling to reassemble a version of reality that can help make all the suffering make sense.

Mike was a good husband, a great father, and an amazing friend. However, he was also financially responsible for the roof over their heads and the food on their table.

Now this family, amidst such unimaginable grief, is struggling to figure out how to make ends meet.

I have known Dawn all of my life. She is a strong and proud hard working woman who faces her challenges head on. She's not the kind of person to ask for help.
