Michael Colletta's Legacy: Aid for Mailyn

Michael Colletta was more than just a single father, brother, son, grandson, nephew, uncle, and colleague —he was a mentor, a leader, and a friend to so many. As a technology educational teacher, he inspired countless students to think creatively, solve problems, and embrace the ever-changing world of innovation. As a coach, he instilled values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in young athletes, always believing in their potential, even when they doubted themselves.

Beyond the classroom and the field, Michael was a pillar of the community. Whether volunteering his time, supporting local events, or simply lending a helping hand, he was always there to lift others up. And through his passion for drumming, he brought joy, rhythm, and energy to those around him. Michael’s love for music was just another way he connected with so many people.

Now, as we remember his incredible impact, we invite you to help carry on his legacy. This fundraiser is dedicated to honoring his life that was suddenly ended at just fifty years old. It’s going to help his Daughter Mailyn. As she is left on her own for the first time as a young woman at the age of nineteen who is just starting her life. With many unexpected debt’s, funeral expenses and bills appearing daily, she could use some assistance. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Mailyn proceed forward on this long journey ahead.
