My name is Zoe Burger. Recently, my beloved dad, Michael Burger, passed away unexpectedly on his 50th birthday. For those who don't know my family, my father and his partner adopted two wonderful kids, Vicky and Alex, after fostering them for a few years. They are the strongest kids I've ever met. My dad was the soul of our family, and his love and care filled us with joy that could last a lifetime. To honor his memory, I have decided to build "Launch Boxes" for everychildoregon.org, which is an organization that provides support for foster children and foster families. Launch boxes are filled with necessary materials and supplies for teens aging out of the foster care system to help them with this sudden transition. With the money donated, I will be building as many launch boxes as I can. The link above lists the common materials needed for the boxes. There is an option to include a meaningful and inspirational note, so when you make a donation consider adding a note in the comments that I will include in the box. For transparency, I will email a photo of the boxes and provide receipts of the boxes being donated to everychildoregon.org.
