Mia Rose needs your help!
Donation protected
Mia Rose was born with a genetic syndrome that causes severe muscle weakness. She has been diagnosed with infantile spasms, which is a form of epilepsy. She also has cortical vision impairment. Amanda and Brian have spent countless nights in CHEO with Mia over the past year. All of the equipment needed to aid in Mia’s movement, seating, physio, feeding needs etc is extremely expensive. Recently the family has been looking at getting a p-pod (a safe, stable seat to help keep Mia both upright and to help in her strength development) but that single piece of equipment is upwards of $2500 to purchase. Neither Brain or Amanda have ever complained about the special care or equipment that Mia needs. They are both parenting superstars. But going forward, the equipment that they will need to help Mia is going to continue to add up. Please accept this as your invitation for all of us who know this family to lend a hand and open your hearts! Let’s get Miss Mia a p-pod!!!
