Singer, songwriter, artist, and actress Mia Carlin has been a fighter since the day she was born. In 2016, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and has been in and out of remission ever since.
This July, Mia underwent emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage—caused by cancer. Doctors discovered the disease had spread extensively. They were forced to place her on a colostomy bag for life and could not remove all of the cancer. A second blockage was later removed, and she began a trial chemo pill. Doctors told her that if the treatment works, she could have approximately five more years. If not, her time may be limited to just six months. Sadly, the first pill made her very sick and sent her back to the ER.
If you know Mia, you know she’s always been vibrant, full of life, and an absolute firecracker. She stopped working a few years ago because of her illness, and now she needs our help. Your donations will go toward medical expenses, travel for appointments, everyday living costs, food, comfort, and care.
