Milagros is a beloved mother of three boys, she is loving, caring, hard worker, and dedicated to her children. In November 2017, she moved to Canada with her husband and kids. Since her arrival, obtaining her permanent residency has been an obstacle, she has been rejected twice and her case has been closed. She may now be facing: Deportation at any time. Unfortunately, in December of 2018, her husband committed suicide, leaving her alone with two children and four months of pregnant. Therefore, she has no financial support and doesn’t meet the criteria for any government aid due to her immigration status. Currently, she has tested positive for covid-19 and her children have been taken in by one of her friends to prevent them from contracting the virus. In addition, she has lost her job and doesn’t have any income to support her little family. This will be her only current form of aid as she is trying to recover from COVID-19 and is in the process of appealing her refugee status. Thanks for all your support!
