On October 14, 2024 Deborah was carrying groceries into her house. When she proceeded to walk up the stairs she felt a pop followed by 2 more pops in her leg and fell to the ground. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance where x-rays were performed. The x-ray revealed that she had broken her femur bone. After more tests were done the doctors had found that she had a lesion on her leg. This lesion was caused by cancer in her bones which caused the break. She was then transported to a cancer hospital to perform surgery on her leg to fix the break and perform more tests. After undergoing surgery and physical therapy she began the journey of getting her leg healed. During this time the doctors had informed her that they found a mass in her liver. She was then diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was told that this is very aggressive.

Throughout this time, she has been unable to work while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. This has left her with medical bills from radiation and struggling to keep up with any household bills she has. She is still undergoing chemotherapy which has only added to the medical bills she already has and it will continue to grow.

We as a family have been trying to help her as much as we can and know others would like to help during this difficult time. We appreciate all that is given during this time and thank you in advance.
