Dylan is a hilarious, rambunctious 4-year-old with a vivid imagination. His big sister Leah and his younger brother Devin are his best friends. They love to play tag, ride scooters, and spontaneously pretend that the floor has turned to lava. In July 2019, Dylan contracted a rare virus known as Entero Virus. It attack’s your lungs and your heart. Dylan’s heart stopped for 5 minutes and due to lack of oxygen to his brain, his motor skills, memory, and sight have all been affected. But Dylan is a survivor! He has been a patient at UCLA MEDICAL CENTER for the last 56 days and he has made miraculous progress. Looking ahead, Dylan will need extensive physical, occupational, psychological, and speech therapy. He has to learn to walk and talk again. We are raising money to cover Dylan’s medical expenses, which include everything from proper home equipment to getting him to the best facilities so he can return to the high-spirited kid that we love.
