My family is going through one of the most difficult times of their lives after a devastating fire at my brother’s apartment building in Queens, New York. My parents, ages 58 and 57, were visiting my 24-year-old brother, an aviation student, when the fire broke out. They had to evacuate quickly and were unable to save most of their belongings. In addition to losing personal possessions, they were exposed to smoke and chemicals from the fire and required medical attention and ongoing care.
The fire has left them displaced and facing significant financial hardship. They now need help covering temporary housing, clothing, basic necessities, transportation, medical expenses, and replacing the essential items they lost. My brother has worked incredibly hard to pursue his dream of a career in aviation, but this tragedy has created unexpected challenges for him and our family. Right now, our focus is on helping them recover, find stability, and rebuild their lives. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others would help us tremendously.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Our family is deeply grateful for every act of generosity as we work toward recovery and a fresh start.
