Save a Child’s Heart

Save A Child's Heart Foundation: Save A Child's Heart Foundation, an international humanitarian organization based in Israel, is the largest organization in the world that provides free lifesaving heart surgery to indigent children from developing countries and trains doctors from these countries as well. We have saved the lives of more than 5000 children from 62 countries. By 2025 we plan to treat 1,650 children annually from 80 countries; we are building the Middle East's first international pediatric cardiac care center.

In 2016, my family visited Israel. During our trip, we went to SACH headquarters in Haifa, Israel. While we were there, we heard from SACH about what they do and had the opportunity to interact with the very kids they were saving. We spent the afternoon playing with these kids just like they were my friends. We played card games, did arts and crafts, and kicked a soccer ball around.
