Ghana '25 with Essex Scouts & African Adventures

Hi there.

My name is Mia, and I am an Explorer Scout with Essex Scouts. I am seeking to raise funds for a volunteering trip of a lifetime to the Volte region of Ghana, West Africa in July 2025, facilitated by African Adventures.

The purpose of this trip is to make a positive difference in the lives of children less fortunate, by volunteering in various activities that impact their everyday school life.

Our planned volunteer activities include building new school facilities, renovating existing buildings, sports coaching, and teaching.

Also, we will have many opportunities to interact with the local community and learn about their traditions and customs.

For me to be able to make such a wonderful difference to the lives of the children in the Volte Region of Ghana, I need your support, no matter how small, to raise £3 050 to cover the cost of this trip of a lifetime.
