My Story

There are moments in life where you realize that waiting for the “perfect time” doesn’t make sense.

Life is busy. It always will be.

But some things are too important to keep pushing off.

This September, I’ll be travelling to Tijuana, Mexico with my church to support a mission that has been caring for orphaned and abandoned children since 1987. Over 5,000 children have been rescued, loved, and given a real chance at a future through their work.

What stood out to me is that this mission goes far beyond just providing shelter.

They are building something much deeper—

a place where children experience stability, family, education, and genuine care.

A place where kids who have come from extremely difficult and often abusive situations can begin to rebuild their lives.

Every single day, this campus directly impacts hundreds of children through orphan care, family support programs, education, and community outreach. They are not only caring for children in the moment, but actively working toward restoring families and transforming communities—one child at a time.

On this trip, we’ll have the opportunity to spend time with the kids, run activities, and support the ongoing work being done on the ground. Even something as simple as meals has a ripple effect—each plate provided helps feed even more children through their program.

I’m raising $3,000 to cover the cost of the trip and to contribute directly toward essentials like food, clothing, and supplies for the children.
