My daughter and son-in-law are trying to start a family, which has always been their dream. Unfortunately, the journey hasn't been easy. After 3 years of trying and facing 4 miscarriages, and lots of tests, they have been given the news that the only chance to have a baby is through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

IVF is a beautiful but costly process, and it's something insurance doesn't cover. Between medications, procedures, and tons of doctor visits, the expense is roughly $30,000 per cycle. Fortunately, my daughter had a work benefit that covered some of the first two rounds but will not cover anything in the 3rd round. They want to try one last time as each round the results have been better, and in the second round, they finally had 2 eggs. Unfortunately, they had 2 chromosomes that can lead to birth defects or another miscarriage.
