My name is Merric Tate, and I am doing my Eagle Scout project from August 19-21. An Eagle Scout project is a service project that must benefit the community and take at least one hundred person-hours to complete. This project must be approved and finished before I can advance to the rank of Eagle Scout.

I am asking for you to consider volunteering your time to help me complete this project or making a donation to my project.

My Eagle Scout project includes installing parking bumpers for safety, landscaping, and installing edging for the Bedford Food Pantry. I will set up 13 rubber parking blocks in the parking lot outside the Pantry. I will be installing these parking blocks because once I volunteered at the Pantry, a man almost drove through the building, endangering many people's lives. My stretch goal is to donate $1000 to the Panty on top of my service project.

I will also be landscaping the rock beds by the entrance of the building. I will install a rubber liner to keep the rocks back from the path and trim the hedges in the rock beds. Finally, I will weed the rock beds and rake up the trimmings. I will need this money to purchase the parking blocks and the rubber lining around the rocks.
