Hello, We are Nikita & Robert and live in Meriton Eastgardens/Pagewood for the past 3 years and have a little 5 year old Albie. Along with some other Meriton parents (Tracey, Maria, Leon, Kellie & Kirsty) we have come together to organise a small Halloween Event for the community.
Now Covid restrictions are lifting, we thought it would be wonderful to offer some relief to the children and the whole community to come out, get dressed up in their best Halloween costume, play Halloween games, dance to some music, eat some yummy lollies and pizza and finish the night with a Halloween movie.
We have contacted a couple of companies who are willing to set a few things up for us and while we could try and do it ourselves, hiring the resources just means that it will be done right!
We are reaching out to everyone within our Community to kindly ask for a small donation to help us put together our first community event which will take place from 4pm Sunday the 31st of October and will include the below:
- Bouncy castle (a small one for younger kids, big one for the older kids)
- Soft play area for 0-3 year olds
- ☠️Disco party (we have contacted a kids party company who come out with disco lights, music, face painting for 1.5 hours)prizes for best dressed (including dogs!)
- Lolly bags (we will put together Lolly bags for the kids and hand out)
- Games - we will have fun games for the kids
- Screen hire - we have contacted a local company who will deliver a screen so that all the kids can watch a Halloween movie once the sun sets at about 7pm.
- Pizza delivery for all! (Due to covid, we feel it’s best not to cook the bbq at this time)
- 9pm - Halloween movie (just for the adults this time, for those who want to come down at 9pm once the kids have gone to bed).
Halloween is only 1week away so we really need to start getting organised and would be very grateful for your donation! We would like to invite you all to join us, no doubt the children will have lots of fun!!
