Merell, Franz & Baby Eli

As I am sure many would agree, Merell is a dear friend to a lot of us. She is one of the friendliest, hardest working, and caring nurses we are fortunate to have at Del Webb. Her and her husband, Franz were overjoyed this fall when they found out they were expecting a sweet baby. In January, they learned they were having a boy and already had the name Eli picked out for him.

This past week, Eli decided to make his appearance earth side quite early via emergency C section. He entered the world at 23 weeks and just over one pound. We already know he is a fighter, but will have a long road ahead of him spending the foreseeable future in the NICU.

Merell will be recovering while Franz is just starting a new job all while making countless trips to check in on their little Eli in the NICU. We are raising funds to help them get through this unexpected journey which will hopefully allow them to get meals, baby goods, and whatever else they may need at this time. Merell and Franz have asked for prayers for sweet Eli, and we want to make sure they feel the whole community rallying behind their family at this time.
