Mercy For Mya - The Birth of The Second American Revolution

It has been 645 days since I found out my daughter was abused by her special education teacher. 645 days since I discovered that the United States government—funded by our tax dollars—was actively harming the most vulnerable children in our society. 645 days since the people who were supposed to protect her chose silence, denial, and cover-up instead.

Since then, nothing has been the same.

Instead of justice, we got obstruction.

Instead of healing, we got retaliation.

Instead of accountability, we got destabilization.

They took my daughter from her home. They put me on child support for the child they traumatized. They are trying to bury the truth by breaking the people who speak it.

But this story is no longer just about my daughter. This is about your children. Our families. Our country. This is about a government that has chosen to protect itself over its people—a system that is collapsing under the weight of its own cowardice.

We’re raising money to change the very system that allowed this to happen in the first place.

Myabella is a sweet beautiful non-verbal autistic 8 year old who we believe was one of the victims of discrimination, emotional, physical, and psychological abuse by her Special Education Teacher Paula McCown that was covered up by her school district between 2021-2023.

In the Spring of 2023, 7 whistle blowers in the 4J School District of Eugene, OR notified their supervisors about the abuse the children of the Life Skills class at Charlemagne Elementary School were enduring at the hands of Paula McCown. The eye witnesses have seen Paula McCown: deny Mya food, deny her the ability to get sensory stimulation in violations of her IEP, enclosing Myabella in tiny spaces and using her weight to keep Mya trapped inside, discriminating against Mya by giving her rules other children didn't have that wasn't inline with her IEP. The eye witnesses also testified to the physical abuse of other students in the class. After an internal investigation, the 4J School District told the whistle blowers to never speak of Paula's illegal actions again and kept Paula McCown in her roll as Mya's teacher.

We believe that the 4J School District is covering up the abuse in the Life Skills Class at Charlemagne Elementary and we are raising money to bring awareness to Mya's case. We believe the testimonies of the eye witnesses is true and stand to publicly challenge the findings of the 4J District internal investigation. We are raising money to help Mya take her case to court and get justice for her and her classmates by exposing the abuse of Mya and her classmates through every possible channel.

Updates:

January 11, 2024: Myabella through her father filed a $564 million lawsuit against the 4J School District and 25 others for their conspiracy to cover up the abuse of Myabella.

January 22, 2024: Mya's lawsuit is sealed from the public record.

January 24, 2024: Mya's lawsuit is dismissed without prejudice.

February 11, 2024: Mya's father files a Notice of Appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court.

March 25, 2024: Mya's father submits his opening brief to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for why children should not be required to purchase legal services when they are not legally permitted to earn wages.

March 27, 2024: A custody hearing for sole custody of Myabella and her older sister is had in the Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, OR.

April 25, 2024: Judge Erin Fennerty of the Lane Circuit Court, takes away custody rights from Mya's father and awards sole custody to Mya's mother who denies the allegations from the 4J School District and orders Mya's father to pay $548 in child support. Judge Fennerty became a shareholder in 4J's in house legal council in 2015.

May 2, 2024: Mya's father files a notice of Appeal with the Oregon Court of Appeals challenging the custody order

June 2024: Without communicating to Mya's father, Mya's mother cuts Mya's Designated Support Professional service at her father's house leaving Mya with no more support at her father's house and leaving Mya's stepmother, who was Mya's DSP, without a job.

August 5, 2024: Mya's father submits his Opening Brief to the Oregon Court of Appeals. In his brief he outlines 4J's connection to people within the Oregon Department of Justice who has the power and motive to rig the custody hearing because they are related to people in the lawsuit against 4J.

August 12, 2024: Mya's father asks the Lane County Circuit court to enforce the new Parenting Plan it ordered on April 25, 2024 by requiring mother to communicate changes to Mya's schedule that affect his parenting time. The Court refuses and tells Mya's father he can appeal

August 14, 2024: Father gets summoned back to the Lane County Circuit court for a past debt

It is our belief that the 4J school District and the people connected to and related to people in the lawsuit, are using their connections, specifically with lawyers and the judges within the Lane County Circuit, to retaliate against Mya's father for pursing civil action against him.

All this just to cover up a woman who was accused of abusing special needs children.

This has become one the worst cases of the abuse power ever. We will keep you updated as more news develops.
