2025 Miss Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Pageant

Greetings!

My name is Cayla Branch, I am from the Two-Up Two-Down  Newport News, Virginia. I have the honor of attending the Sloping Hills and Verdant Greens of the Illustrious North Carolina Central University, where I am a Second-year Pre-Nursing Scholar. I am deeply passionate about my journey to becoming a Labor and Delivery Nurse, with a mission to advocate for African American Women who are often dismissed and overlooked in the healthcare system. While my education is my top priority, my passion for Service follows closely behind. I strive to make a meaningful impact on my campus by participating in Clubs and Organizations that align with our motto “Truth and Service”.

After much reflection, I am honored to announce that I have been selected to compete in the 2025 Miss Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Pageant, hosted by the brothers of the Mighty Tau Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. This opportunity allows me to continue giving back to communities in need while advocating for causes I am deeply passionate about, such as my platform—“YOUth for Me.”

“YOUth for Me” is a mentorship program for middle school-aged youth that focuses on addressing mental health warning signs and promoting self-advocacy. Its goal is to support young individuals in their growth and development, helping them reach their full potential and become their best selves.

With my platform, I am committed to empowering our youth. However, I cannot do this alone. I am asking for the support of my family, friends, and community. Your assistance will enable me to make a greater impact and further serve those in need.
