Yes it’s still a killer, yes there is still a stigma. Men talking about how they feel is still a topic that needs attention and embracing, as many suffer in silence with suicide in males being the single biggest killer in the UK for those under the age of 50.

We at men-talk.uk, a community interest company, based on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent support local men via groups and one to one sessions. In addition, Strongmen, Registered Charity Number: 1184242 support men in the UK who’ve experienced loss and bereavement. With both doing great work and in need of financial support and much deserved recognition, i’ll be raising money for both.

So, if you’re able to help me help others within local communities and beyond the support here would be highly appreciated and welcomed as I’ll be undertaking this mammoth task of running a full marathon, cycling 54 miles, walking 10 miles with a 30kg bergen, indoor rowing for 10 miles followed by 100 burpee’s consecutively!
