RPA Mental Health Staff Social Tennis Group

Hi, my name is Don. I’m raising funds to start a weekly social tennis group for Mental Health professionals in the Sydney Local Health District. I will run the group designed to bring together medical and non-medical staff from various Mental Health wards.

My experience across multiple settings has shown me the value of collaboration in bringing teams together. In this challenging field, where burnout is common, strong connections are essential for enhancing patient care. This group will offer a fun, active way for staff to unwind, manage stress, and strengthen professional relationships.

The funds will cover weekly hire of two courts and tennis balls, ensuring a welcoming space for mixed doubles play. The group will provide a consistent, beginner-friendly environment for healthcare staff to engage in a social tennis group each week.
