Mental Health Declassified aims to create safe spaces within communities to break the stigma surrounding mental health & wellness. Our intent is to recognize and highlight the connection between real life experiences and mental health through storytelling. We are advocating to bridge the gap between our community and accessible resources.
Mental Health Declassified is taking a new step and transition to become a Non- Profit Organization! As we transition to a 501-(C)(3) Non-Profit, we would like to ask all of you to support us with donations that will help make all of our work possible. Several legal, filing and lawyer fees come along with this process. These donations would help us expedite the process of expanding our community, and to make mental health resources more accessible. Our hope is that we will be able to reach different demographics, by creating more safe space events in public schools, low income communities and wherever else Mental Health needs to be Declassified.
Here are just a few of the event ideas that could help impact a community near you:
These events will not only bring the community together through awareness and safe spaces, but will be a place for individuals of all backgrounds to call home. It will also allow individuals to be themselves and to feel validated.
Not only will becoming a 501-C3 Non Profit Organization help create a safe place, it will also help with video production of our short interviews podcast, growing to a larger scale of storytelling for everyone around the country to hear and be impacted by.
To ensure that we can move along with these next steps we need your help! Please donate anything you’re able to, no amount is too small. We appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for your support!
