Unfortunately, during these unprecedented times, mental illness has been on the rise among our teens. A dear friend of mine, I will keep the name out for confidentiality, has been struggling with her teen daughter who has just attempted suicide for the second time this weekend. My friends family does not have the best insurance and the psychiatric holds are not covered. Her daughter also needs to go to a facility, but the cost is overwhelming. My friend is also unable to work at this time because she can't leave the hospital because of COVID and if she does leave she can't return which leaves her daughter alone in the hospital. I am asking for all of your help so she can send her daughter to the much needed facility to get the help she needs. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
