Mental Health 4 Separated Children

Bonnie's deepest passion was the mental health of children. Her final wish was for mental health services to be provided for the children who suffered the trauma of being separated from their parents at the border.
We, Bonnie's children and husband, are working closely with LIRS, a long-established charity that has raised funds and helped to reunify separated border families, provided advocacy and legal support, transportation, transitional housing, and ongoing supportive case management, including trauma counseling. They are working with a large network of partners, and are headquartered in Baltimore, MD.
The funds collected here will be earmarked to go specifically to trauma counseling for families in the reunification process.
LIRS will provide services at a cost of $1500 per family. They will be compassionately serving 700 to 1000 families across the country. We are trying to raise funds for at least 4 families, but would love to be able to help more.
