Want to join Windsor Secondary's Social Justice 12 class to make a difference? We are raising money to benefit The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre, and any donation will help create an impact.

Our project is about how Menstrual Hygiene is a Human Right. Our goal is to make around 100 or more care packages filled with pads, tampons, underwear, feminine wipes, and a chocolate bar. We will then go to the downtown Eastside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where the less fortunate live, and donate our care packages to the women’s shelters in that area. With the homeless population continuously growing in Vancouver, we want to be able to help as many women as we can. We don’t have a precise number of the exact population of women downtown that are homeless, but we do know that they don’t have access to clean, sanitary items each month, and we want to be able to change that. We are hopeful that you will be able to help our class by donating so we can ensure these women have the sanitary products they require and one less thing to worry about while living on the streets or in shelters.
