Hi, I'm Joseph Ko. Together with my dad, we are going to be running the OMM (Original Mountain Marathon), hoping to raise funds for Mandem Meetup on the way. Personally, I believe that there is still an existing stigma around men's mental health, which I believe is absolutely crippling to those who need support. Not just those with mental health problems, but boys or men who are just looking for a community that's worth their energy and time, yet may not have the environment or the circumstances to be able to do that. Having struggled with mental health previously, this is naturally something that would appeal to me, as it should to many other people. The funds raised will be used to go towards the vision for Mandem Meetup, for a world in which no man (and no person in general) has to feel like the world is suppressing them from seeking help.
