Officer Geoffrey Redd

Hi, we are the family of Officer Geoffrey Redd! Officer Redd has been a Memphis Police Officer for 15 years every day to make our City a safer better place to live! He also served our country as a Marine! Officer Redd always was a God-fearing man that loved God and his family. He kept us and anybody that came in contact with him laughing with his jokes! At our last family gathering Christmas 2022 he was so happy to be with his family and see his family together taking pictures with and of everyone, capturing memories!

During the afternoon on February 2, 2023, Officer Geoffrey B. Redd and his partner were dispatched to the Poplar-White Station Library located in Memphis, Tennessee on a trespassing call. Officer Redd was a Field Training Officer training his partner. As they tried to de-escalate and talk to the suspect, the suspect shot Officer Redd and his partner shot back killing the suspect. Officer Redd was rushed to the Regional One Medical Center in extremely critical condition, but he is still fighting for his "LIFE"!

This fund aspires to assist his daughters and grandchildren whom he loved dearly with any incidental cost that would or may not be covered by the systems in place.
