From Wakefield to Manchester – Walking with Purpose

We are proud to share that three dedicated staff members from Earls Lodge Residential Care Home are embarking on an incredible journey to raise awareness and funds for two meaningful causes close to our hearts.

The Challenge:

On Monday, 14th July 2025, our team will set off at 4:00 AM from Wakefield Town Centre and walk all the way to Manchester Town Centre — a journey of determination, spirit, and love. They expect to arrive between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM the same day.

Why They’re Walking:

Inspired by the residents they care for every day, this walk is a heartfelt way to give back and shine a light on the importance of community, compassion, and ongoing support.

️ Funds Raised Will Support:

Earls Lodge Resident Activity Fund – to enhance daily life and experiences for our residents

Cancer Research UK – helping to fund life-saving research and support for those affected by cancer
