Hello, My name is Oliver Simpson, and I’m fundraising for Oliver Lanes Family.

Ollie lane was my closest friend, and he meant the world to so many people, it’s unbelievable, he never realised how much people truly cared but I’m hoping he’s seeing it now.

Ollies was 16 and in his first year of college, he was such an amazing friend and never failed to make anyone laugh, even teachers he made laugh. There was something about that boy that made him the greatest person I had ever met and I’m sure I can say that for others as well, the bond with him and his family were unbreakable, the stories I have heard are so great and so funny that it showed me a side that I hadn’t seen but there was a side to him that his family didn’t see, and it was how many people he was really friends with and how many people cared for him, recently near the college we had all of his friends let off balloons for him and he’s family truly saw how much he was cared for.

Ollie will never be forgotten and he will always be loved and remembered, he was too good for this world but he was the shining star that kept this world bright, althought he may not be here, he is with us in spirit and he’s watching over us doing his iconic laugh at all of our jokes and mistakes like always, but we loved him more than ever for it.

His family has chosen to donate his organs as that what he would’ve wanted so in life and death, he has helped people and even saved peoples lives.

I want to say how proud I am of his family, even in the hospital after everything happened, they were cracking jokes, laughing, smiling, everything and I’m so happy that they are still pushing through and doing amazing.

Every penny made on this GoFundMe will go to his parents and from there it’ll go to a charity or something of their choice but most probably a funeral for Ollie, but most of all a big thank you to Ollie’s family for being so unbelievably strong and allowing me to help them and do everything I can to helping set up multiple memorials and events to help remember Ollie and show how much he meant to everyone.
