Memorial Tree for Marianne Tolar

Marianne Tolar was a friend, mentor, role model, mother, wife, pillar of the community. She emanated a childlike faith, helping her fellow community by providing a loving, joyful approach for caring for children of all ages through her at-home daycare.

We want to honor her memory by dedicating a tree with a plaque at Eldridge Park in Elmhurst, Illinois, where she and the kids played at. A meeting place of new growth and happy memories for all that we're blessed to know her.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one; I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when day is gone. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times, and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.-Marianne Tolar
