It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic and sudden loss of Ethan Insley, who was killed in a head-on collision on Monday, June 16th, 2025 on Highway 89 in Alliston, Ontario. Ethan had simply gone out to get flowers for the garden - something so simple and kind, just like him - when his vehicle collided with a trailer truck. He did not survive the crash.
Ethan was a man of quiet strength, unmatched kindness, and unwavering integrity. He worked for Brinks for 30 years, where he earned the respect and admiration of everyone around him. He was known as someone who never hurt a fly - a gentle, humble man who always followed the rules, lived with care, and treated everyone with compassion.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Adriana, and their two beautiful daughters, Daniela and Sophie, who are now facing a life without their father far too soon. His loss has left a void that can never be filled. Ethan was also a beloved son to Peter Insley and Lois Tonner, and a cherished brother to Jason and half-brother Shane.
This GoFundMe has been created for Ethan’s family to help ease the financial burden during this devastating time. Your donations will go directly to Adriana, Daniela, and Sophie to support them with funeral costs, immediate needs, and ongoing support as they navigate this heartbreaking chapter of their lives.
If you had the privilege of knowing Ethan, you know how deeply he loved his family and how selflessly he gave to others. And if you didn’t know him, please know this: the world has lost a truly good man - one who deserved so much more time.
Please consider donating, sharing, or simply sending your love and prayers to Ethan’s family. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for your compassion.
