DESTINY BROOKLYN MOCK, of Eagle Rock, Missouri was born January 30, 1998 in Berryville, Arkansas to Delaney and Christina (Lunsford) Mock. She departed this life on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.
Destiny was a beautiful 20 year with a long life ahead of her. She had a gentle spirit and a kind heart that was recognized by everyone who met her, especially the very young and the very old. She had a special connection with babies and never missed a chance to love on every little one she met. She also had a fondness for and had been pursuing a career path working with the elderly. Traveling with her family to Hawaii and NYC helped develop her love for shopping, horseback riding, and watching the sunset. Destiny loved being in the sun and near the water. She loved her freedom, her friends, and spending time with her family. Destiny was easy to get along with, easy to get a giggle out of and easy to love. Destiny spent many years studying dance at Elite Dance Studios taking classes in ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre. She attended school in Cassville, Missouri where she graduated in 2016. Her beautiful face and sweet soul will be truly missed. She is survived her parents, Delaney and Christina Mock of Eagle Rock, Missouri; two brothers, Corey and Kona Mock of Eagle Rock, Missouri; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous other loved ones and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal great grandmother, Maxine Mock; maternal great grandmother, Christine Easley; paternal great grandfather, Joe Easley; aunt, Julie Mock; one cousin, Amber Mock.
Destiny was an organ donor, and with her death brings new life and hope for many others.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at New Day Fellowship Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas with Brother Paul Harris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
