Stradbally Tidy Towns is honoured to be asked to spearhead the initiative to fundraise and plan the installation of a memorial bench in honour of the late great Fr. Jerry Condon P.P. on behalf of the community.

Our goal is to install an impressive limestone bench, inscribed in honour of Fr. Condon in Stradbally village, with surrounding planted areas. To do this, we have had quotes for the creation and installation of the bench and planted area surrounds to the value of 5k.

This will be a timeless and magnificent piece, which we hope will reflect the great fondness of our community for Fr. Condon. It will be placed on the village green, where he spent many a morning having elevenses with his friends.

Our fundraising will only be used for this purpose and once the goal is reached, we will close the fundraiser and commence the works.

This piece will honour Fr. Condon and be a great asset to our community and we would be grateful for any donations, large or small to this fund.
