Hi everyone,

I thought this was the best way to get any contributions for the memorial bench for Nanny and Pop

I’ve spoken to Maggie who is the church warden at Christchurch, and she’s agreed that we can have a bench literally just up from the grave which will be really nice for us all when we go up and visit.

Shes agreed that Ollie can fix the bench to the ground which he’s experienced in and this will save on cost. she’s also agreed can have it delivered directly to the church to save having to transport/carry it

I’ve done a bit of research online and we can get a really nice solid one, engraved and delivered for around the £500 mark. (If there’s any money left over I can get some nice flowers for the grave or/and put it towards a drink for everyone Christmas so we can toast them)

Once we’ve got enough together I’ll drop everyone a message about the plaque - I was thinking something lovely about them as a couple as it’s where they got married but we can discuss that at a later date.

Whatever anyone would like to contribute is absolutely fine, Im going to leave this open for everyone until the end of Nov then try and sort it in time for Christmas

when we have a date for it being delivered I’ll let everyone know if you’d like to come up.
