DVAM Skate Meetup & Fundraiser Hosted by Melody Skates

Join us for an exciting in-person event on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lincoln Terrace / Arthur S. Somers Park (Eastern Pkwy, E. New York Ave. bet. Rochester Ave. and Portal St.)

Lace up your skates and get ready for a thrilling day of rollerskating and fundraising brought to you by the one and only Melody Skates.

Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, this meetup is for everyone who loves the thrill of riding on wheels. Come and show off your skills, learn new tricks, and connect with fellow skate enthusiasts in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Not only will you have a blast, but you'll also be supporting an important cause. This event doubles as a fundraiser for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).

While this is a free event, the suggested donation is $5 -- help support a great cause!

We will have some amazing prizes from brands like Luminous Wheels, Defiant Upgrades, Fydelity Bags, JBL & more throughout the event. $5 per raffle ticket or 5 for $20! Together, we can make a difference and support survivors of domestic violence.

Mark your calendars and don't miss out on this epic skate meetup. Please spread the word, invite your friends, and let's make this event a huge success. See you there!

For transparency, raised funds will be donated to two local beneficiaries working towards supporting survivors of domestic violence. They will be announced the week before and after the event. Anything raised after 1k will help to cover event costs (permits, equipment & talent - estimated at $350.)
