Hello my name is Lexi Murphy and I am a Ty student in Loreto Wexford. Other students and I have been given an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Cape Town South Africa with the Mellon Educate programme in March 2026.

During this programme I will help children in the local primary school develop their literacy skills, I will help with construction such as bricklaying, painting and building fences for the primary school.

I will also visit the local secondary school where I will meet people my age and learn about their experiences.

This is an amazing opportunity. We have to raise €3,500, I will be doing other fundraising myself but any donations would be greatly appreciated.
