Hi, my name is Roisin Moran Audsley, I’m a Transition year student and I have been given the amazing opportunity to go to Cape Town, Africa with Mellon educate.

When we arrive, we will be staying for a week and mainly helping out in a local primary school, we will help children in expanding their literacy skills and help them gain confidence in it.

We will also be helping the school with light construction such as bricklaying, painting, etc. so the children will have a secure place for learning and socialising.

Along with this, we will be socialising with the students there and get to know them better, this is a great opportunity to expand our social skills and become friends with them even if we are from different countries.
