Hi everyone,

Ciara and Rachel here. In November, we will travel to South Africa to volunteer with the Mellon Educate Building Blitz 2025!

Mellon Educate is an Irish-based African development charity founded by Niall Mellon in 2002. They have had sixteen hugely successful years of building houses and have recently transitioned to building schools in some of South Africa's poorest townships.

As a volunteer, we will help to build and refurbish these schools and classrooms, which can give life changing opportunities to the children living in these underdeveloped areas. Money raised also supports the very successful literacy programme which run throughout the schools during the year.
