Myself and 23 other students and staff of Belmayne ETSS will travel to Cape Town, South Africa in March 2026 to work with the Irish charity Mellon Educate. We will be involved in a mix of volunteering projects when we are there, including improving children's literacy skills. As Nelson Mandela said "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." This is only possible thanks to the generosity of donors in Ireland and around the world.

We also hope to introduce hurling and camogie to the children while we are there. I would be grateful for any amount that you can give towards this amazing cause.
