Hello everyone,
My name is Tanesha James, and I’m a proud native from Western Jamaica. On Tuesday, October 28, our beautiful island was devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm that brought winds of over 200 km/h and relentless torrential rain.
The destruction has been unimaginable — homes flattened, communities washed away, and my family is left without food, clean water ans in aome cases shelter. My immediate family in St. James and extended family in Westmoreland have been deeply affected. Many have lost everything — their homes, belongings, and even their means of livelihood.
I’m doing everything I can to support them, but the need is overwhelming. I will buy food a day zinc for roofs My aunts ,uncles and cousins are struggling to provide basic necessities like food, water, clothing, and building materials to start rebuilding our lives.
Your support — no matter how small — can make a world of difference. Every donation will go directly toward helping my affected relatives rebuild their homes, restore access to clean water, and regain stability in the aftermath of this disaster.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your friends and family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
Tanesha
