On Saturday, May 6th my dear friend and fellow REALTOR, Melissa Tofield, and her daughter Ashley, a Clemson student, were rightfully walking across the street on Folly Beach and were hit by an SUV as pedestrians.

We are all praising God for the miracle that they are both alive. Over the last week alone, they have each faced multiple surgeries with more forecasted. The surgeons and nurses at MUSC have been incredible and the incredible outpouring of prayers, love and support has moved Melissa, Ashley and her entire family.

But we need to do more. We can do more.

I am confident that the REALTOR community alone across the Upstate and the Lowcountry not to mention all of Melissa's clients & friends as well as Ashley's fellow students at Clemson can come together to ensure that they are not facing further stress from the burdens such tragedies can take.
