Melanie's Journey: Support Her Daughter

Dear Tribe,

Many of you know that my sister-in-law, Melanie, has been battling aggressive cancer for the past two years. Since September, she’s had to leave her beloved teaching job to undergo major surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. This fight has taken a huge emotional, physical, and financial toll on her and my brother’s family—and it’s not over yet.

One of the ripple effects is on my teenage niece. Melanie taught at a private school that had generously offered free tuition, which helped to meet my niece’s unique learning needs. With Melanie unable to work, the family is now facing both financial hardship and the loss of that crucial educational support.

To help ease the burden, I’m raising funds to cover my niece’s tuition for this school year.
