"THE MEG CENTER" Changes Negative Black Images in TV News

MEG, the acronym for "Media Editing Group," is a 10-year broadcast TV news critique organization consisting of 3 groups of volunteers, (1) data entry aides, (2) retired TV news journalists, and (3) community leaders. All three work in unison to achieve one goal:

"To DEFEND, PROTECT, IMAGE, of BLACK COMMUNITY against negative & improper broadcast TV news practices."

Since 2019, MEG and Chicago TV news executives from Channels 2, 5, 7, 9, and 32 have engaged in ongoing discussions to seek resolutions to correct such practices.

MEG's work has yielded many achievements. However, it lacks a location to inform and teach the public about the gains made through its partnership with Chicago TV news stations.

MEG seeks to remedy this by respectfully asking the public to donate to this GoFundMe page to establish what will be known as "The MEG Center."

“The MEG Center” will be a place where all donations will be applied to provide the public access to all of MEG's services free of charge.

Whatever you donate will benefit the entire Black community.
