Meeka and her Family need our help!

Hi, we are a group of Meeka's friends and Saint Maria Goretti Class of '96 classmates reaching out to get her some much needed help. On 3/14/2024, Meeks's fiancé, Sungai passed away suddenly, leaving her wondering what her next steps will be. Unfortunately, Meeka is no stranger to tragedy, having lost her beloved daughter Cierra in 2004. Meeka is now a single mother of 2, and could use our help. As you all know, Meeka is a giver. She is a loving and giving mother to her children, but is also a pillar of her community. She has been an educator for over 20 years first, with the School District of Philadelphia, and currently with the Independence Mission Schools. Meeka also advocates for the children of her community by being an active committee person for the Grays Ferry neighborhood for almost 15 years.
