These are the ideals of America, and today we face the powers that be in a new cultural revolution that will be talked about for years to come.
We view reality through the windows we carry in our back pockets, making what is happening feel like no more than a TV circus gone wrong. Those of us who can not be on the front lines, as we cannot spare our health during a global (now mostly local) pandemic see only what some deem fit to share. Do not be fooled. People are still gathering, fighting and standing up for what is good.
Day after day, Americans are being attacked for supporting our most fundamental constitutional rights. There are people who have a duty to serve the community in times of social unrest. Medics and Vets are on the ground helping, without prejudice, those who are being injured while making a stand. Major trauma incidents are happening on a daily basis throughout our country in the struggle for equality. EMS has a code of ethics to do the following:
To conserve life, alleviate suffering, promote health, do no harm, and encourage the quality and equal availability of emergency medical care.
In order to serve the community, we have built a team that has spent weeks on the ground and will continue to help the people until the violence has ended. They are acting on a volunteer basis under the protection of good samaritan laws. Even though this team is acting as volunteers, basic standards for proper First Responder Protocol needs tools and resources to act on site. We need support. We are raising funds to outfit our members with the proper first aid materials so they may respond to major trauma incidents.
This will include but is not limited to:
PPE
Bandages
Tourniquets
Chest Seal
Hemostatic
Splinting
Transport (gas)
As volunteers we must remain neutral. Therefore, the team needs support from community members and not any politically driven organization. We are asking for funds so that we may, in turn, support the community. Our team is comprised of trained operatives certified to provide life saving interventions to any mass casualty incident on site. We will continue to act around the WestCoast and anywhere we deem needs help.
Please share, please donate, please reach out for any questions or concerns. The only information that will not be handed out is the names of individuals on the ground for their own personal safety. If you are an ally, supporter, or advocate whether domestic or foreign, your donation will go towards providing life saving interventions in these troubling times.
