Medical Outreach Volunteer Trip to Peru

My name is Abby Jones, and I'm fundraising for a medical volunteer trip to Cusco, Peru with Volunteers Around the World Global Health Alliances. I am going with my school's VAW chapter to provide medical assistance at a local clinic in Cusco and to learn about global health. I will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple physicians at the clinic and practice basic medical skills (like taking vitals, consulting, and bedside manner). I am so excited to have this opportunity to learn about another culture while also learning about healthcare practices and systems.

All funds raised would be going towards the program's expenses (includes housing, food, in-country transportation, a translator, and program staff), medication & supplies for the patients, and travel expenses for myself.
