Medical Missions Trip In India Summer 2025

Hello everyone!!

I am currently wrapping up my 3rd semester of nursing school at Baylor University! One of the amazing parts about going to Baylor is the opportunity I have to take my nursing education overseas. This summer, I am going to India (New Delhi and Bangalore) for 2 weeks in July through Baylor’s nursing program. Over that time, I will shadow local nurses and learn about nonprofit medical ministry in the context of rural and urban poverty in India. I will also be leading devotions with the hospital chaplains to various departments and providing teaching to the children at the local school about CPR and first aid.

Admist a busy nursing school semester, I am currently taking a missions course called Perspectives. It has been teaching me about our call as Christians to share the gospel with unreached people groups and the role we can play in the Great Commission. The Lord’s timing, as it always is, has been perfect with me taking this course because I have learned about the need in India. The need not only for healthcare, but the Gospel. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to combine my passion of nursing with my desire to share the love of Christ with those around me all the way on the other side of the world.

I have a fund-raising goal of $2700 to cover flights, meals, vaccinations, and supplies that my team and I will be bringing over to the local hospitals. Any amount that you feel called to donate would help me more than you could ever know! More importantly I ask that you partner with me on this trip in prayer. I ask for prayer for my team and I’s safety, health, and boldness when it comes to our faith. For me personally, I ask for prayer that the Lord would use this trip to open my eyes and heart to be attentive to His plan for my life in terms of medical missions!
