Hi everyone!!!
My name is Nicole Gonzalez-Tablada, and I’m currently a nurse in the Emergency Department with a deep passion for serving others, especially during their most vulnerable moments. This October, I’ll be traveling to Johannesburg, South Africa with an incredible nonprofit organization called Nurses With a Purpose to provide life-changing medical care and support to underserved communities.
I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2022 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and for the past 2.5 years, I’ve worked in both the Emergency Room (ER) and the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). I’ve cared for patients through some of the most traumatic and difficult moments of their lives, and I’ve learned the power of being a calm, compassionate presence when everything else feels uncertain.
This mission is deeply personal to me. My heart has long been drawn to caring for those who don’t have the means or access to medical care in their own country. This trip gives me the opportunity to extend my skills, knowledge, and compassion to people who truly need support, healing, and hope.
How You Can Help
To make this mission possible, I’m raising $3,500 to cover travel, lodging, and the medical supplies we’ll bring to those in need. Every donation, big or small, will help me reach South Africa and serve these communities with dignity, love, and skilled care.
If you’re unable to give financially, I’d be incredibly grateful if you shared this page with friends, family, or anyone who might want to support this mission.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me. Your encouragement and generosity truly mean the world.
With love and gratitude,
Nicole Gonzalez-Tablada
