Every year, the Funmi Adewole Foundation (FAF) sends teams of volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, optometrists, and other health professionals to medically under-served communities in West Africa.

 

FAF missions provide holistic care that includes medical, vision, and dental care. We focus on chronic diseases and conditions that often go undetected and untreated among those who cannot afford the cost of healthcare: Hypertension, Diabetes, Malaria, Breast and Colon Cancer, Heart Disease, and Stroke Prevention, among other conditions.

 

We also provide preventive education through culturally sensitive instruction to help sustain good health in the communities
