This Friday, I will be leaving with a team to Gulu, Uganda, to serve patients in need of surgery at the St. Mary's Lacor hospital. I have been fortunate to serve with the Medical Missions Foundation for several years and this mission will be my 22nd, followed by my 23rd (to Guatemala with Hospital de la Familia) later this fall. I am raising funds to help cover the cost of my flights to these destinations, and would greatly appreciate any and all support, as this work means a great deal to me. To work in healthcare, and to be able to serve communities that otherwise could not receive life changing care, is something that has shaped my life's purpose. For financial reasons, I will need to reevaluate my ability to participate in so many trips, but am committed to participating where and when I can, and am so grateful for the opportunities and support I have received this far.
